Getting the five kids ready for school today.  Three are ready to go back … one is okay with the idea and one has decided to quit 4th grade and go to work with me.  I love having them home in the summer months.  Quiet mornings, no rushing around and everything seems very peaceful.  Even the kitties and dogs seem more relaxed when the kids are home from school.  Today, the calendar looks totally full for the next four months and every weekend is booked with activities.  Today I will enjoy the last few hours of freedom and try to prepare myself and the kids for the upcoming chaos of fall.
