Today we find ourselves sending three of our five away to camp. Seems like an easy thing that lots of parents are probably doing today as well.  Right?

Not so much.  A Christmas in June party for two of them (have you ever tried finding Christmas sweaters in June?!) Oh, and the Mississippi Riverfront costume …. SERIOUSLY?!  Did they run out of ideas this year and went to the good ol’ “Mississippi Riverfront” theme party?!

So, beyond the multiple swim suits, bug spray, water bottles and hats, we get to find costumes that require 10 hours on Pinterest and quickly reading Tom Sawyer to them so they know what the heck a corn cob pipe is.

Tip of the day … when selecting a camp be sure you look at the theme parties.  Pick wisely!
